The Experience

A Different Kind of Therapy Experience

Communication affects everything.

The way we communicate shapes every important relationship in our lives.

Whether you're navigating conflict, feeling disconnected from someone you care about, struggling to express your needs, or simply wanting healthier relationships, our work begins by slowing down and understanding what is happening beneath the surface.

There is no insurance company directing your care. No generic treatment plan. No one-size-fits-all approach.

Instead, you'll find a private, supportive space where we focus on what matters most: helping you communicate with greater clarity, listen with greater understanding, and create stronger, more meaningful connections.

For some, that means learning how to navigate difficult conversations. For others, it means rebuilding trust, repairing disconnection, or finally feeling heard in their most important relationships.

You bring your story, your experiences, and your goals. I provide structure, insight, and practical tools to help you understand patterns, strengthen communication, and move forward with confidence.

Because when communication improves, relationships improve.

Common Questions

Why choose private-pay therapy?

Private-pay therapy allows us to focus on your goals rather than insurance requirements. There are no required diagnoses, session limits, or treatment restrictions—just thoughtful, personalized care built around your needs.

Do you accept insurance?
No. Guided Solutions is a private-pay practice, allowing for personalized care without insurance restrictions, required diagnoses, or treatment limitations.

Do you work with individuals or couples?
Both. I work with individuals seeking healthier communication and stronger relationships, as well as couples looking to improve connection, navigate conflict, and rebuild trust.

What issues do you help with?
Communication concerns, relationship challenges, conflict resolution, affair recovery, discernment counseling, mediation, premarital preparation, life transitions, and strengthening personal and relational well-being.

Do you offer Christian counseling?
Faith-informed counseling is available for those who desire it. My approach respects your values and can incorporate Christian principles when requested.

How long are sessions?
Most individual sessions are 60 minutes. Couples sessions are often extended to allow for deeper, more meaningful work.

Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. Both in-person and virtual appointments are available for Michigan residents.

What is the first step?
Schedule a consultation. We'll discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine whether we're a good fit to work together.
