Your counselor
Hi, I’m Kelley. There’s room for you here.
I want you to have a place where you can be honest about what’s hard—and feel supported as you work through it.
I bring warmth, structure, and a practical approach to couples work. We’ll make space for both partners’ experiences, look at the patterns keeping you stuck, and practice something different together.
My work is Gottman-informed, with attention to the ways ADHD and executive functioning differences can show up in relationships. Christian faith can be included when both partners want it.
Get heard. Learn to listen.

Why choose private-pay therapy?
Private-pay counseling lets us plan our work together around your relationship goals, with fees explained before you book. You pay Guided Solutions directly rather than having services billed to an insurance plan. We’ll discuss the recommended format and next steps with you.
Do you accept insurance?
Guided Solutions Relationship Center is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance for these services. Please review the session fees and bring any questions about payment to your consultation.
Where can I find investment details?
You can review Guided Marriage™ fees and session options or Guided Beginnings™ premarital investment details. We’ll explain any recommended assessment or separately recommended services and their costs before booking.
Do you work with individuals or couples?
This practice focuses on couples seeking help with communication, conflict, connection, and trust. I also maintain a limited individual counseling caseload. Contact me to ask about fit and current availability for individual support.
What issues do you help with?
I help couples with recurring arguments, emotional distance, relationship stress, trust concerns, affair recovery, and uncertainty about whether to stay together. Other areas include ADHD-related relationship challenges, parenting and family stress, premarital preparation, and life transitions. You can also ask about mediation and whether that service fits your situation.
Do you specialize in neurodiverse or ADHD marriages?
Yes. My work includes couples navigating ADHD and executive functioning differences. We’ll explore how attention, planning, follow-through, emotional reactions, and shared responsibilities are affecting each of you. I combine Gottman-informed relationship work with ADHD-informed strategies and practical supports tailored to your goals. Explore ADHD and marriage counseling.
What is relationship discernment counseling?
Discernment counseling offers a structured space to consider your direction when one partner wants to repair the marriage while the other feels uncertain or is considering leaving. The immediate focus is understanding what brought you here and considering your options before committing to couples therapy. It is typically one to five sessions, decided one session at a time. Learn about discernment counseling.
Do you offer Christian counseling?
Yes. When both partners want faith included, Christian beliefs and values can be thoughtfully integrated into our relationship work. There is room for hope, honest questions, and reflection alongside practical communication and repair skills. Faith integration is optional, and you do not need to share my faith to work with me. Learn about faith and marriage counseling.
How long are sessions?
Regular couples counseling appointments are 90 minutes. A Marriage Intensive is a private, four-hour appointment. Discernment counseling begins with a two-hour session, with additional sessions lasting 90 minutes. The initial Gottman assessment package includes individual check-ins and a 90-minute results and strategy session. Compare session options and fees.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. In-person appointments are available in Troy, Michigan, and virtual counseling is available for clients located in Michigan. We’ll discuss the format and scheduling details before your appointment.
What is the first step?
Request a consultation through the contact form, call 248-599-1669, or text Kelley directly. We’ll talk about what brings you in, answer your questions, and consider whether working together is a good fit. You do not need a perfect explanation to reach out.
Do we have to be in crisis to begin?
No. You can come for support with a recurring disagreement, a stressful transition, or feeling less connected than you want to be. We can discuss what you’d like to understand or change during your consultation.
What if my partner is unsure about counseling?
It’s okay to have questions before deciding. A consultation gives you a chance to understand the process. If the uncertainty is about staying married, rather than about counseling itself, discernment counseling may be a better starting point.
A little hope. A next step.
You don’t need all the answers to begin a conversation.
Tell me what’s been hard and what you’re hoping could be different. We’ll start there.
